07 Mar Do You Travel With Excuses?
Have you ever packed workout clothes, protein, and running shoes for a trip with the intentions of working out and then find that you never even exercised? But you wore the clothes and running shoes right!? I’ve been there, and done that. I’m sure you can relate. You have the right intentions but things just didn’t “workout.” One major factor that kept you from exercising was probably not having access to a well equipped gym. That was always my excuse. Wherever I stayed I found the gym hit or miss. More often it was the latter.
Nothing is more disappointing then walking into that hotel/resort gym with all the motivation in the world and finding one broken treadmill, a stationary bike, and two 10lb dumbbells… What the heck are you supposed to do with that? You need more options than that. That’s what I thought too. I just wanted one thing I could take anywhere with me and get a full body workout with. The Versa-Band came to my mind. Something that provided not only bodyweight training, but also incorporated resistance training too.
I started working on it and soon had a working prototype that I could test. I began traveling with it the Versa-Band and found that it was extremely convenient! It allowed me to perform just about any workout that I desired. It was easy to set up and tear down. This was important for me because if I am going to spend travel somewhere that I’ve never been I want to see as much as I can with the limited time I am there. I don’t want to be in the hotel or resort room. I would go on a two mile run and setup the Versa-Band where I felt was right and do a few sets of exercises, then continue on with my run. I found this method to help me burn 600+ calories in a 45-minute workout. Not only did I get a workout in, but I also got 2 miles of cardio in!
Give the Versa-Band a try and I am sure you will find it solved many of the problems that you face too. Travel with no excuses!!
