Suspension training is an effective way to increase core muscle activation and strength. You see them in every gym and there are plenty of personal trainers that can show you how to use them. Everybody’s doing it and unless you’ve been under a rock somewhere, you know it’s more than a hot trend…its a movement.
Resistance training has been used in physical therapy offices and by athletic trainers for years and offer many of the same benefits as using free weights. You have full free range of motion as well as range of speed, and even though the bands look flimsy compared to a barbell, you can achieve increased muscle and strength. Studies show they work.
